On September 2nd, the Impeached President Donald J. Trump told his supporters in North Carolina to vote twice to see what ­would happen.

Let them send it in and let them go vote, and if the system is as good as they say it is, then obviously they won’t be able to vote.

Spoiler alert. That’s illegal. In fact, not only is attempting to vote twice a Class I felony, “soliciting someone to do so also is a violation of North Carolina law,” said Karen Brinson Bell, executive director of the North Carolina State Board of Elections.

Shockingly, that wasn’t the first time Don the Con has broken the law. Let’s take a look at the previous month, August 2020, to see just how little he or his sycophantic cult members care about this whole “law and order” thing he’s been spouting.

The tireless reporting of David Fahrenthold revealed that Trump bilked the American taxpayer via the Secret Service for over $900,000, courtesy of the 271 times (so far) he’s visited his properties.

Trump’s businesses also brought in nearly $4 million in fees funneled through political events at his properties. Oh and he charged AMERICA a $1,300 “furniture removal charge” during a presidential visit to a Trump resort in Scotland.

The Hatch Act

Trump and co. ignored the Hatch Act by using government property for a partisan event called the Republican National Convention. Naturally, 100% of the attendees didn’t practice social distancing, and 99% were maskless, the latter of which is also a violation of the law in D.C.

A California judge ordered The Donald to pay Stormy Daniels $44,100 in legal fees related to her lawsuit against the adulterous president. That’s in addition to the $130,000 Trump and his fixer, Michael Cohen, paid her in 2016.

Thanks to global warming — which Trump’s deadly policies have helped accelerate — the wildfires have forced over 100,000 California residents to flee their homes. Because California is a blue state, that means to Trumpland, they’re the enemy.

Give a listen to “our president” at a rally in Pennsylvania: “I said, you gotta clean your floors, you gotta clean your forests — there are many, many years of leaves and broken trees and they’re like, like, so flammable, you touch them, and it goes up… Maybe we’re just going to have to make them pay for it because they don’t listen to us.”

Hey, dishonest Donnie… In case you’re reading this, 57% of forested areas in California are managed by FEDERAL AGENCIES such as the US Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management, and the National Park Service. So maybe you gotta have YOUR PEOPLE “clean your forests,” if that was an actual thing.

Trump said he’s ordering law enforcement to the polls on November 3rd.

We’re going to have sheriffs, and we’re going to have law enforcement.

Sounds perfectly reasonable — in a fascist nation. Oh, and not only is there a federal law against voter intimidation in America but the mere presence of law enforcement officers at the polls is prohibited in many states.

Through Louis DeJoy, the flunky he hired in June to be Postmaster General, Trump has slowed the post office to a crawl by removing mailboxes, nearly 700 sorting machines, and overtime for mail carriers.

Oh, and JUST IN TIME for the onslaught of mail-in ballots that he fears a scant three months before an election during a pandemic.

A series of coincidences? Sure. If you want to be technical, you could probably add manslaughter to the docket of destruction. With delays of up to two weeks, many desperate Americans are not receiving their medicine on time. And that’s a crime.

Slander (AKA, Birtherism: The Sequel)

After years of spewing lies about Obama’s fake birth certificate and being born in Kenya, Trump has moved on to defile another Black person: Kamala Harris. The Donald spread the latest conspiracy theory that Harris isn’t eligible for the vice presidency because her parents were immigrants.

I heard it today that she doesn’t meet the requirements. I have no idea if that’s right. I would have thought, I would have assumed that the Democrats would have checked that out before she gets chosen to run for vice president.

Harris was born in Oakland.

Nope. This isn’t about Melania. Trump has taken credit over 150 times for a veterans’ health care bill that was passed in 2014. And signed by… guess who? President Obama.

In August, CBS correspondent Paula Reid asked Trump at a press conference:

Why do you keep saying that you passed Veterans Choice? It was passed in 2014… it was a false statement, sir.

Trump, being the honest person he is, apologized for the error.

No, I’m kidding. Of course, he didn’t! He abruptly snapped: “Ok. Thank you very much, everybody.”

Then he walked off the stage.
