Trump has declared war on mail in voting, and his new postmaster, Louis Dejoy, is doing the dirty work of crippling the US Post Office.

But this particular front in Trump’s push to steal the 2020 election comes with devastating collateral damage: veterans and others who need the mail to live.

A new VoteVets ad shows that American veterans make up tens of thousands of Trump’s victims, as delayed mail leaves them without lifesaving medications.

Trump says the quiet part out loud about mail in voting

Trump confessed to his beloved Fox News exactly why he wants the US Postal Service to fail. While explaining why he was opposed to the coronavirus aid package House Democrats passed three months ago, Trump confessed to the reason for his objections. “If they don’t get [funding],  they can’t have universal voting.”

Trevor Noah offers a spoonful of sugar that helps this bitter truth go down.

Trump admits to his battle against mail in voting — which means he admits to endangering all of the people who need the mail to live.

Pay attention to the word SERVICE

Members of the Armed SERVICES have SERVED our country. Now, because of Dejoy slowing the mail, these veterans can’t even get their prescriptions on time from the United States Postal SERVICE.

Here’s that word ‘SERVICE’ again…

Part of the way Dejoy and Trump are undermining the Post Office is to “recast” the USPS as a company rather than a service. Unlike its competitors, the United States Postal Service is framed in the constitution. It serves every American on US soil.

The Armed Services are not forced to turn a profit as they serve the US — that idea is laughable. So why is this idea of “market competition” used against the US Postal Service? Because Trump wants to kill vote by mail. And he doesn’t care about the collateral damage.

The war on mail in voting is destroying the post office

ReallyAmerican dropped an ad that lays out how Trump is destroying the US Postal Service. Trump picked Republican donor Louis Dejoy to head up his war on mail in voting. Dejoy owns stock in companies that compete against the USPS, but this epic conflict of interest did not stop him from taking the job as postmaster general.

Trump doesn’t seem to care who gets hurt in his war on vote by mail.

All Trump wants from the military is trot the armed forces out for his own purposes.

And now that he wants to stop people from mailing in their ballots, Trump doesn’t care about the service of others.

Trump has always disrespected the military

Whether betraying troops by letting Putin slide on Russian bounties, or telling soldiers they are fighting for the stock market, Trump has proven his disrespect again and again.

Let’s protect the Postal Service and mail in voting!

As Trump tries to stop mail in voting, and Dejoy destroys the post Office, Americans need to fight back.
