Congressional Capitol Coup Co-Conspirators Caught?

Remember that little event on January 6th? No, not your aunt’s birthday brunch. That other thing.

Y’know, where thousands of MAGA marchers stormed the Capitol to overthrow democracy? The insurrectionists were encouraged by President Trump in hopes that they would be able to kill, kidnap, indefinitely delay, or prevent Congress from accepting the Electoral College results. And also so they could add “sedition” to their resumes.

Well, it turns out that the fascist weasels may have had help. Inside help. Inside “elected” help.

Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill (N.J.) saw a group of Republican members of Congress giving tours on January 5th, the day before the attempted coup.

The only problem is that the tours had been SUSPENDED IN MARCH due to the pandemic. March.

Representative Ted Lieu plans to hold any member of Congress who gave inside help to the insurrectionists accountable. And being expelled from the House is just the tip of their legal iceberg of demise.

The Revolution will not be televised. But the coup was. And the receipts are coming.

Here it is. Who knew that engaging “in insurrection or rebellion” or giving “aid or comfort” to the enemy would be frowned upon?

Section 3.

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

Representative Sherrill said she witnessed members of Congress taking groups through the Capitol the day before (coincidence!!!!) hundreds of red-hatted people seemed to know EXACTLY where hidden and unmarked offices of key Democratic players were located. Although Sherrill didn’t name anyone yet, there are many suspects.

Stop the Steal organizer Ali Alexander said that three GOP Congressmen helped him. Arizona’s Paul Gosar and Andy Biggs and Alabama’s Mo Brooks — who was at a rally that fateful morning imploring for the MAGA mob to “kick some ass.”

The QAnon gun-toting darling of the GOP freshmen isn’t very good at subtlety. And that includes her tweets.

It’s pretty obvious that she was giving out House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s whereabouts to her throngs of MAGA morons.

CCTV footage of the tours is said to exist but hasn’t been released yet. But if I were a betting man, I’d say when the truth comes out, you won’t be able to count all the seditious weasels on one of Josh Hawley’s power fists.
