The president’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, tweeted an awkward photo of herself holding a can of Goya beans on Tuesday evening. She captioned the post “If it’s Goya, it has to be good. Si es Goya, tiene ques ser bueno.”
The post comes just a few days after the CEO of Goya declared himself a Trump fan setting off a Goya boycott. However, Ivanka’s photo and endorsement may actually be illegal.
“Executive branch employees may not use their Government positions to suggest that the agency or any part of the executive branch endorses an organization (including a nonprofit organization), product, service, or person.”
Twitter users weren’t surprised by a member of the Trump family doing something unethical, but they did have a good time photoshopping Ivanka’s bizarre Goya bean pic.
